2D Echo with Doppler is an examination that is performed on the ultrasound machine to detect abnormalities of the heart. It is used in many situations to detect cardiac function and ejection, valve motion, as a pre operative fitness test, to look for fluid around the heart, and motion abnormalities.

It is safe during pregnancy.

Prior appointment is necessary before coming for 2D and color Doppler Echocardiography.

Patient should get previous reports like X-Ray, ECG when coming for 2D Echo.

No preparation is needed for 2D Echo.
